Little Church is very active in St Patrick’s Parish and is run by a group of parents who share the leadership and spiritual guidance of the youngest members of our community.
For pre-communion children, Little Church runs in school term time during 9:15am Sunday Mass. During the first part of Mass the children are in the hall and sessions include songs, craft and an explanation of the Gospel adapted for young children. The children then present what they have done before the congregation.
Little Church is well supported and the confidence and competence the children have in showcasing their work and answering Fr Mario’s questions is exemplary. Listening to them read about the theme of the Gospel brings the scripture alive.
